Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Franc opens with seductive aromas of black currant and anise along with hints of pastry dough, blueberry and espresso dust. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, beautifully balanced, silky smooth and sexy. The flavor profile is crushed stone minerality, black licorice and blackberry blend with notes of black tea, oak, and black pepper. We also detected hints of boysenberry. The finish is dry and its refined medium tannins drift away nicely. The Panel described this as a wine to impress. We would pair this Cab Franc with filet mignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
