Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara is very good. It opens with an oak and black raspberry bouquet with a hint of blood orange. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth and balanced. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry and pomegranate blend with pleasant notes of oak and stone dust minerality. I also detected hints of oolong tea, black plum and black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and well-managed acidity and fine tannins drift away nicely. This very well-made Pinot seriously over-delivers for the money. It also would pair well with many foods. I would try it with coq au vin. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Completely seductive wine. Nose of blackberries and rosemary. Succulent and sweet red fruit. Savory notes and mouth coating tannins round out this harmonious and complete Pinot Noir.
