Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Thelema is very good. It opens with leather and blackberry bouquet hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a smoky oak infused blackberry with notes black licorice and black olive. The finish is rather dry and its dusty tannins are a bit sticky. This Cabernet will appeal to fans of traditional South African reds. It is made for a well-marble Brazilian Fraldinha steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This age-worthy Cabernet from the heralded Thelema estate is a benchmark South African bottling with an impressive track record. Sleek and stylish, it abounds with alluring flavors of blackberry and blackcurrant intertwined with complex notes of coffee, cedar, tobacco and eucalyptus
