Wine Review: This dark ruby colored opens with a pleasant root beer bouquet with hints of plum, raspberry and tomato leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a mild cherry, rhubarb and cedar blend with notes stewed red plum and five spice. We also detected hints of chocolate and cashews. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins drift away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing with Petite Sirah with pappardelle pasta smothered with a Bolognese sauce. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This "Estate Grown" Petite Sirah is full bodied, flavorful and fruit forward. On the palate, this wine has lots of raspberry, chocolate, cola, and some toasty oak. It has very round tannins, and the acidity is well-balanced, creating a pure and smooth finish. This vintage will age beautifully for decades. This wine will pair well with barbecue, stews or pot roast.
