Wine Review: This adventurous Grenache focused red blend from Paso Robles is a hazy ruby red color, with scents of dark raspberry, dried herbs, violets, wet river stone, topsoil, and grilled cherries. On the palate there's a medium body, integrated medium plus acidity, good balance, and a lifting freshness. After 15 minutes in the glass, it becomes more generous and layered with flavors of tart red cherry, blueberry, crushed stone, dried herbs, raspberry tea, and oak with notes of pomegranate, anise, and tobacco. It finishes dry and its managed dusty tannins are very long. Serve with a marinated bavette steak sliced thin. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Aromatic hints of fruity tea leaves, orange rind, and herbs lead into a juicy, approachable palate with flavors of dried fig, chocolate shavings, and blueberry. Mild tannins sweep across the tongue with a lifted acidity and a red-purple hue, finishing long with a slow fade of fruit and spice. This is a wine that doesn’t need a moment, it creates one. Future Crossings 2023 is deliciously flexible at the table. Think roasted vegetables with Moroccan spices.
