Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored wine opens with a cherry cordial bouquet with notes of vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a very tasty macerated black cherry with notes of blueberry and oak with hints of minerality. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors lingered nicely. This was well-liked by all that tried it. It would pair this impressive Mataro with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
