Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Three Sticks opens with a Werther’s candy and pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich and flavorful. The flavor profile is a toasted oak influenced pear with notes of vanilla and caramel. The finish is dry and its flavors stick around for quite some time. This rich styled Chard would pair well with Lobster bisque with sherry. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This is the second vintage of our beloved Alana Vineyard Chardonnay. The 2017 Alana has rich flavors of Asian pear and toasted almond, coupled with sandalwood and hibiscus. As vivacious as its namesake, the Alana Vineyard continues to amaze us.
