Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay from Three Sticks is Excellent! It opens with a pear and pineapple bouquet with hints of oak and butterscotch. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, round and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a gentle oak and mild mineral influenced pineapple and Bosc pear blend with hints of lemon and a touch of caramel in the background. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Chard is very food friendly and went perfectly with my butternut squash ravioli smothered in a parmesan cheese sauce at Lucia's. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: We source the Durell Chardonnay from the oldest blocks of the vineyard in the hills above the Sonoma Valley. This wine bursts with lemon meringue and orange blossom, with notes of white tea and honey. Our 2017 Durell Chardonnay marks 20 years since we purchased Durell, the birthplace of Price Family Vineyards and Estates. This Chardonnay is surely worth the tribute.
