Wine Review: This slightly cloudy dark ruby colored Mataro from Three opens with a lavender and blackberry bouquet with hints of moist pipe tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The flavor profile is a red plum and raisin blend with notes of craisin and acai berry. I also detected hints of cinnamon. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This wine benefits from a little aeration. Give it a swirl and pair it with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
