Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Petite Sirah from Titus opens with a chocolate raspberry crème and dried coconut bouquet with hints of boysenberry and fig. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and smooth. The flavor profile is a Dr. Pepper and fresh plump raisin blend with notes of rum cake and blackberry. I also detected hints of oak and black olive. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins are nicely extended. I would pair this Petite Sirah with chicken enchiladas with a mole sauce. Enjoy – Ken
