Wine Review: This clear and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Toil in Oregon opens with a mulberry and cranberry, bouquet with hints of violets, oak, and bayberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, clean and seamless. The flavor profile is loam and red raspberry blend with notes of red licorice and craisin. We also detected hints of graphite, oak, and black tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity and mild dusty tannins linger and last for a while. We would pair this Pinot with grilled lamb chops or with cedar plank salmon. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The color of ripe cranberries. The nose is dripping with garden-ripened strawberries and raspberries, fresh plums, and subtle notes of green tea leaves, baby bella mushrooms, and butterscotch. The mouthfeel of the wine is extraordinary, with dense, ripe fruit, supple tannin, and refreshing acidity. A delicious and classic Oregon Pinot Noir from the terrific 2023 vintage!
