Wine Review: This assertive dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a spiced plum and cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slight acidic and savory, yet has a round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a cranberry and stewed plum blend with notes of smoky oak and nutmeg. I also detected hints of cola. The finish is dry and its refined tannins fade away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with wild boar meatball appetizers. Enjoy – Ken
