Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Tolosa is very nice. It opens with a black raspberry bouquet with some pomegranate and cola as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, savory and fruit forward. The flavor profile is primarily ripe black raspberry with notes of strawberry rhubarb and cola. I also detected hints of dark chocolate, craisin and oak towards the end. The finish is dry and its acidity and moderate tannins show very nice length. This Pinot definitely benefited from some aeration. The longer it was open the better it got. It was still terrific on day two. I would pair this Pinot with duck confit. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby with a raspberry pink rim. On the nose, It displays, raspberry coulis, rose petals, fresh fig, and blood orange. On the palate, it has a smooth entrance with a vibrant acidity displaying flavors of raspberry liqueur, red currant, dragon fruit with blood orange and rhubarb on the finish.
