Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Tolosa was very well received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a fragrant strawberry and cedar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and silky smooth. The flavor profile is a stewed plum with notes of craisin. We also detected hints of clove, red cherry and pomegranate. The finish is dry and its flavors show very nice length for a Pinot. The consensus was that this Pinot would pair very nicely with grilled cedar plank salmon. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby color with a purple rim. Enticing aromas of boysenberry preserve, vanilla bean, floral notes of violet, with mineral notes of crushed stone, tar and herbal tones of lavender. Primera has a silky entrance on the palate showcasing nuanced flavors of wild strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. The lavender carries onto the palate with notes of thyme and fresh oregano. Flavor of raspberry puree lingers on the finish. Primera is a big, balanced Pinot Noir from start to finish, exhibiting a rich mouthfeel.
