Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Tolosa opens with a musty wood and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, elegant and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum and mineral blend with notes of faint oak. I also detected hints of strawberry. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with a game bird like pheasant. Enjoy - Ken 9/24/21 - Two years later this wine is drinking even better than in 2019!

Winemaker Notes: Black cherry color with a lavender rim. Aromas of maraschino cherries, crushed oyster shells, smoked paprika, cigar box and fresh baked cumin bread. Flavors of raw almond, cranberry, mineral notes of clay and worn leather on the finish. This wine is seamless with a freshness thanks to the bright acidity.
