Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec opens with a fragrant boysenberry and black raspberry bouquet with hints cherry-cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is full bodied, round, and lush. The flavor profile is an extracted boysenberry and stewed red plum blend with notes of oak and crush stone minerality. I also detected hints of blackberry, black pepper, and cherry licorice. The finish is dry and its fine tannins, fruit flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this voluptuous and easy to drink Malbec with a beef bourguignon. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A deep red color with ruby hues, this Malbec displays intense aromas of dark fruits, with notes of smoke, mint, spices along with subtle notes of thyme, graphite, and licorice. In the mouth it is fruity and mineral, with grippy lingering finish.
