Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored blend from Oregon opens with a mild apple blossom, honeysuckle and tropical bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, nicely balanced, creamy and round. The flavor profile is a refined mineral and gentle white grapefruit blend with notes of lemon zest and Anjou pear with a hint of gooseberry and peach pit at the very end. The finish is dry and pleasantly fades away. This is a very food friendly white wine. I would suggest pairing it with linguini with clam broth or with pan fried trout almondine. Enjoy – Ken
