Wine Review: This Cabernet from Tudal was one of our top scoring wines from the 2010 vintage. It is opaque and dark ruby colored. It’ opens with a very inviting black cherry and gentle red currant bouquet with a hint of menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and refined. The flavor profile is a gentle black currant with nicely integrated smoky oak. We also detected a hint of black cherry, coffee, and black pepper. The finish is dry and its fine tannins drift away nicely. This Cab was popular with the panel and it was suggested that it would pair well with Stuart’s steak treats. Enjoy - KWGTP
