Wine Review: This pitch black colored Petite Sirah from Turley is very good. It opens with an attractive blueberry and dark chocolate bouquet. On the palate, the wine is just full bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a stewed plum and light oak blend with hints of cola. The finish is dry and its well-managed moderate tannins drift away nicely. This is very food friendly for a Petite Sirah. I would serve it soon with a NY strip steak. Enjoy – Ken
