Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Turnbull opens with a black currant, violets, and mocha bouquet with hints of pencil shavings and blackberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with nicely integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, very smooth, plush, and savory. The flavor profile is a cassis, cedar, and graphite blend with notes of mocha and black plum. We also detected hints of black tea and boysenberry. The finish is dry and its big boy tannins build-up and are sustained for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - KWGTP
