Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from V. Sattui opens with a fragrant red currant and coconut bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is an extracted black raspberry with notes of toasted coconut. I also detected hints of boysenberry, rosemary and thyme and faint graphite. The finish is dry and tannins show a very extended length. This Cab would pair very nicely with a dry-aged ribeye steak. Enjoy – Ken
