Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Syrah from Napa Valley was very well-received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a black cherry cordial bouquet with hints of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is mentholated cherry and oak blend with notes red currant. We also detected a hints vanilla, thyme and bay leaf towards the end. The finish is dry and its dusty mild tannins are nicely prolonged. The Syrah would pair well with prime rib. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This is a deeply refined Syrah. Our 2017 from Napa Valley is a beautiful blend of three different Syrah vineyards each bringing a unique characteristic to this popular Syrah. This wine is very dark and opaque with ruby-black hues, aromas of blueberry and blossomy hibiscus, black raspberry and wild berry; it has a hint of leather, black pepper and smoked meats with an underlying core of dark cherry fruit and ample, sweet fruit on the finish.
