Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a boysenberry, cinnamon, and raisin bouquet with hints of peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, and very juicy. The flavor profile is a plum, blackberry and oak blend with notes of minerality and clove. I also detected hints of red licorice at the very end. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and flavors linger and last for a while. This flavorful Zin would pair well with Memphis styled dry rub ribs. Enjoy – Ken
