Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Zinfandel from V Sattui opens with a dried coconut flake bouquet with hints of strawberry and boysenberry in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft and smooth. The flavor profile is gentle stewed plum and black cherry blend with notes of coconut, fig, boysenberry, and oak. The finish is dry and moderate tannins are nicely extended. The Panel would pair this Zin with burnt ends or sweet and sour spare ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
