Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with quite a fruit bowl of a bouquet. I picked up aromas of pomegranate and stewed plum with hints of black raspberry and strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and rests nicely on the palate. The flavor profile is a dark chocolate influenced black raspberry with notes of oak, stony minerality and red plum. I also detected some earth mushrooms and RC Cola in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle acidity drift away nicely. This Pinot would pair nicely with Julia Child's coq au vin. Enjoy – Ken
