Wine Review: This deep garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from V. Sattui opens with a black cherry and blackberry bouquet with hints of wintermint, cola, and sage. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is black plum and crushed stone blend with notes of black cherry and Baker’s chocolate. We also detected some hints lingonberry, green tea, and oak. The finish is dry, and its moderate dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Red Blend with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
