Wine Review: This light gold colored Chardonnay from V. Sattui opens with a fragrant lemon and oak bouquet with hints of butter cream and chalky minerality. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and lush. The flavor profile is an oak influenced white peach with notes of butter cream and poached pear. I also detected a hint of spice and pineapple in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for quite a long time. I would pair this very good California styled Chard with lobster bisque. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2020 Los Carneros Chardonnay has a lovely golden color with expressive tropical aromas of guava peach and honeydew melon interwoven with subtle notes of toasted oak. Its lovely bright acidity is highlighted by refreshing lemon zest characteristics that balance out the richness of round barrel aged nuances.
