Wine Review: This very pale coral colored Rosato di Pinot Noir from V. Sattui is terrific. It opens with a very attractive and inviting watermelon and maraschino cherry bouquet with hints of tangerine, pineapple, and gardenias. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, silky, clean, and bright. The flavor profile is a tasty lemon-lime, tangerine, and crushed stone minerality blend with notes of watermelon and green apple. We also detected some hints of strawberry and white tea in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and refreshing. We would pair this Rose with your favorite summertime place.
