Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Semillon from California opens with a quince bouquet with hints of pineapple, gooseberry, and honey. On the palate, this this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a Bosc pear, quince, and honey blend with notes of chamomile and dried herbs. I also detected hints of green beans, lime zest and green fig. The finish is dry and refreshing. Serve slightly cool on a hot day with a chilled crab cocktail. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2021 North Coast Semillon is light in color with fresh lemon zest and lime aromas. Bright and refreshing on the palate with excellent texture and mouthwatering complexity; each sip bursting with passion fruit and wild guava character.
