Wine Review: This clear and golden yellow colored Chardonnay from V. Sattui opens with an inviting pineapple and pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and zesty. The flavor profile is a spiced Bartlett pear and oak blend with notes of pineapple and vanilla custard. I also detected hints of quince and white pepper in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time.
