Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Sonoma Mountain opens with a very fragrant blueberry bouquet with hints of cola and charred oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, fruit forward and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused ripe blueberry with notes of black cherry and oak. The finish is dry and its tannins and fruit flavors are nicely prolonged. The panel suggested that this would be a good fireplace wine to save for winter to drink with Traders Joe’s Belgium dark chocolate. Enjoy - KWGTP
