Wine Review: The midnight purple colored Syrah based blend opens with a black cherry and plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and blueberry blend with notes of cassis. I also detected hints of oak and integrated minerality. The finish is dry and its refined tannins and flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this impressive wine with Theresa’s meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2017 GSC is comprised of 55% Syrah, 44% Grenache and 1% Cinsault, this wine resembles the prettiest wines from the Southern Rhone. While light on the palate, the wine is very complex. Tart cranberry and pomegranate are what first show themself, followed by warm spices like star anise and wild fennel. With a beautifully vibrancy, stunning acidity and a balance of fruit and tannins, this wine will continue gain layers of complexity for the next 7-10 years.
