Wine Review: This slightly hazy and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Reuling Vineyard opens with an inviting black raspberry and ripe black cherry bouquet with hints of oak, dark chocolate, spice, and stone dust. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is craisin and pomegranate blend with notes of red raspberry and toasted oak. We also detected hints of bay leaf, juicy red plum, oolong tea, and stony minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and moderate refined tannins drift away nicely. This Pinot benefits from a little bit of aeration. We would decant it briefly or give it a good swirl before pairing it with some grilled lamb lollipops. Enjoy - KWGTP
