Wine Review: This very dark ruby Tempranillo is ready to go and quite quaffable. It opens with a very inviting cherry-cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced and has a round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a blend of gentle cedar, herbal tea and mild cherry. I also detected hints of plum, red licorice and orange zest. The finish is dry and its flavors and resolved mild tannins drift away nicely. This well-aged Tempranillo is ready to go. I would pair it with a veal chop in the near term. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This 100% Tempranillo is a polished, tightly wound and elegant wine with refined floral/spice aromatics is supported by fine tannins for a silky texture, leading to a persistent finish of red berries and subtle oak. Blossoms with air and will age gracefully for years, in the manner of top Burgundy.
