Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored wine opens with a blackberry and old leather bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, rich and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black currant with notes of black licorice, and old oak. We also detected hints of plum. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well managed. The panel suggested pairing this big boy wine with duck breasts with a balsamic-cherry glaze. Enjoy - KWGTP
