Wine Review: This clear gold colored Chardonnay based white blend from Veritas Vineyards in Virginia opens with a pineapple and apricot bouquet with hints of honey and yellow peach. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, dense and lush. The flavor profile is ginger tea and mild apricot blend with notes of gentle honey and pineapple. I also detected a faint hint of butterscotch at the very end. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this white blend with Savoury Lane's five fruit stuffed chicken. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The wine is gold in color with pronounced aromas of white flowers, orange blossom and acacia that precede aromas of Meyer lemon, stone fruit, and ginger. On the palate the wine has bright mouth-watering attack that is softened by the unctuous mouthfeel as notes of citrus and fresh green grass lead onto stone fruit, peach, apricot and pineapple; hints of toasted coconut and ginger add to the wonderful complexity of this wine. The finish is complex and long lasting. The wine has everything, balance, intensity, complexity, and a forever finish.
