Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Villa Matilde from Greco di Tufo opens with a light lemon and faint apricot bouquet with hints of almond. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, viscous, bright, and zesty. The flavor profile is lemon verbena and Anjou pear blend with notes of white peach and white pepper. I also detected hints of green tea, almond, and stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite while. I would pair this Greco with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
