Wine Review: This cheerful Pinot Gris from Pfalz ,Germany is a light golden yellow colored in the glass, with aromas of peach, wet river stone, pineapple, and honeysuckle. On the palate it is dry, medium bodied, and crisp with medium plus acidity. I found it has a bit more depth than a typical Pinot Gris. There are flavors of Bartlett pear, crushed stone, pineapple, and tart green apple. The finish is dry, and it is quite refreshing with gentle minerality that lingers for a while. This Pinot Gris would go great with sushi or clam's casino. - Mark
