Wine Review: This light gold colored Chenin Blanc from Vouvray opens with a golden delicious apple and quince bouquet with hints of grapefruit pith, toasted sourdough, and honey. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, supple and creamy. The flavor profile is Anjou pear and quince blend with notes of chamomile tea and white peach. We also detected hints of honey biscuits, and almond. On the finish, its flavors and acidity linger nicely. We would serve this Chenin slightly chilled and pair it with your favorite baked brie with honey recipe. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
