Wine Review: I was very impressed with this Moscato from Vino Dei Fratelli. It is a great buy at its price point. This light straw-colored wine opens with an appealing apricot and floral bouquet that includes honey, light tangerine and hints of lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied and is rich, creamy, flavorful and sweet. The flavor profile is a rich creamy homemade honey butter and apricots. I thought this Moscato was extremely well balanced with pleasant layering. The finish was palate filling and faded away nicely. Initially, I also noted that there was a bubbly feeling like a sparkling wine, but it dissipated quickly in the glass with some air. This wine was quite enjoyable to drink at room temperature, but a few may prefer it slightly chilled before serving. I would serve this delightful Moscato with cannoli’s with chocolate chips from Mike's Pastry in the North End of Boston. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: Straw yellow in color, Vino dei Fratelli Moscato d'Asti has fragrant aromas of flowers and honey, with a kiss of tropical fruit. This is a full Moscato with fine structure and a delicate and harmonious palate. Vino dei Fratelli Moscato d'Asti is delightful as an aperitif or dessert wine.
