Wine Review: This midnight purple Shiraz and Cab blend opens with a blackberry and dark chocolate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. I also found it to be round and it has a nice mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and gentle graphite blend with notes of mild blackberry. I also detected hints of oak and black licorice mixed in. The finish is dry, and its flavors and mild tannins subtly drift away. This Red blend is food friendly and it would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
