Wine Review: This is Russian River Chardonnay. Like the Peter Michael, there is very little that this wine leaves at the front door. The perfume is potent with peaches, caramelized golden apples, vanilla, and ginger. On the palate, the sweet flavors of creme brulee and dried apricots are added to the cornucopia. The finish is medium-long in length with the smoky oak notes lingering the longest. This is a standalone Chardonnay that should not be blemished by food. - Nicolay
