Wine Review: This brownish orange colored 20-Year Old Tawny Port from Warre opens with a fragrant Grand Marnier, toasted walnut and golden raisin bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a pecan and brown spice raisin bread with notes of Sugar Daddy candy and a touch of honey and walnut. The finish is dry and does not show the heat. We would suggest sipping this by the fireplace this fall with a slice of pecan pie. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Warre's Otima 20 Year-Old-Tawny reflects the complexity and finesse acquired from prolonged aging in seasoned wood. It's translucent copper colored tone of the wine is matched by the beautiful soft nutty aromas gained by a full twenty years aging in seasoned oak casks. OTIMA 20 Years is rich and delicate, but never cloying; the tannins and acidity ensure balance and perfect length. Does not need decanting. The wine is ready to drink when bottled. OTIMA 20 is a pleasure to drink at any time, not just at the end of a lunch or dinner.
