Wine Review: This clear and brilliant white gold colored Chardonnay from Wayfarer opens with a gentle pineapple and ruby grapefruit bouquet with hints of lychee and mild pear. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is delicate, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a pineapple and gentle Bosc pear blend with notes of ruby grapefruit and oak. I also detected hints of green tea, saline, honeycomb, and lemon zest. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity show nice length. I would pair this polished Chard with lobster bisque. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2022 Chardonnay "The Estate" is an enticing pale gold in the glass.
