Wine Review: This clear and light pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Whitehall Lane opens with a white floral and gentle lemon bouquet with hints of green apple and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh, and slightly zesty. The flavor profile is a quince and Anjou pear blend with notes of mild grapefruit and passion fruit. We also detected hints of pepper, lemon, and stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. We would pair this versatile and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc with a shrimp and linguini dish with a lemon sauce or with a spring vegetable risotto. You can a sip on this wine on the porch this summer.
