Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Winderlea opens with a flint stone and gentle strawberry bouquet with hints of cherry and turned earth. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and silky. The flavor profile is a flinty minerality with notes of strawberry and red raspberry. We also detected hints of light oak, tart cherry and craisin. It closes with dry tannins that linger on a long finish. The Panel suggested pairing this Pinot with baked sole or rotisserie chicken.
