Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling from the Rheingau opens with a fruity citrus lemon and lime bouquet. I also detected hints of light tangerine and ripe cantaloupe. The medium bodied palate is smooth, sweet and juicy. The flavor profile is a melody of tropical fruits and light honey. The acidity and minerality are balanced, making this Riesling a pleasant easy-going crowd pleaser. The finish is slightly dry with a touch of green apple. This is a good after work summer sipper served slightly chilled on your patio, deck or porch. If not sipping on its own, I would pair this Riesling with a grilled chicken salad and Ken's Italian dressing. – Joe
