Wine Review: This straw-colored dry-styled Riesling from the Rheinhessen opens with Bartlett pear and golden apple bouquet with hints of Galia melon and ginger ale. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, fresh, and zesty. The flavor profile is a green tea and lemon verbena with notes of ginger and tonic water. We also detected hints of white pepper and white peach pit. Serve this Riesling chilled on the beach on a hot summer day.
