Wine Review: This translucent red colored Areni from Armenia opens with a red raspberry and mulberry bouquet with a hint of cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with elevated acidity. The flavor profile is a spiced plum and minerality blend with notes of cola, cinnamon and mulberry. The finish is dry and its flavors and minerality are nicely prolonged. This wine would pair well with a grilled flat iron steak. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Expressive aromas of red berries and black cherries, followed by floral notes of lilacs and hint of minerality. The palate is both intense and elegant. A ripe and powerful tannic structure and refreshing acidity bring balance to the fruit flavors, culminating in a complex yet harmonious finish.
