Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with an inviting juicy pink grapefruit, tropical fruit and peach bouquet. The light to medium body is round, juicy and lively. The flavor profile is pink grapefruit, guava, and peaches with hints of pineapple, lemon and herbal undertones throughout. I also enjoyed its crisp acidity and minerality. The minerality follows through on the slightly dry extended finish. This is a very good example of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and a terrific offering at this price point! If not sipping on its own on a warm summer night, I would recommend pairing it with shrimp pad Thai. – Joe

Winemaker Notes: The nose shows citrus notes, underpinned with aromas of fresh herbs and blackcurrant leaf. The palate is full, lively and balanced with a long, crisp mineral finish. Enjoy with seafood, chicken, salads and pastas.
